| Nature Gear has organically grown since 1998. When I sold my first pair of pants to a friend I knew from that moment this is my calling in life and passion for my creative energy. I am mostly self-taught but did briefly attend Brooks College in Long Beach CA, for Fashion Design. I am a 3rd generation seamstress for my mother owned a bridal shop and constructed and tailored wedding dresses. I always thought I wanted to make beautiful dresses for beautiful woman. With 13 years of sewing experience I continue to grow my roots and develop new ideas everyday. I have been using hemp and organic fabrics for over 10 years now I still will use cotton calico's for my mama dresses in the summer!. I have been dyeing fabrics for over 13 years. I strive to use the highest quality eco-friendly fabrics, and equipment that I can find. Fabrics are pre-washed in earth friendly laundry detergents. If they are hand-dyed I use Low-Impact Earth Friendly dyes, All patterns are hand-drawn and measured precisely for the design. All seams are surged, straight-stitched and stress points are top-stitched. All appliqués' are heat n' bonded and stabilized (like a real patch) to ensure a long lasting life. Each garment is individually inspected upon completion. Each piece is one of a kind & infused with loving energy. Sent with Delivery Confirmation Priority Mail.
